Too hot to germinate

I'm starting off a few seeds in a moist paper towel between 2 plates in a room which gets very hot during the day (maybe over 100F) and below 70 at night. I've realized the error of my ways and moved them somewhere more stable..ie a steady 75.

A few of them have started to show a root but they're very slow. 5 days now. Do you think I've damaged them.

They're still moist

If the root is white and looks firm, I think they'll be okay. Also, if a few have enough root, you could transfer them to your medium now.
