Too many plants, not enuf space? (pics)

Hi all,
This is 5 x White widow now being veg'd for nearly 2 months in a DWC(?)/bubbler...

Here's my predicament, Once these girls (fingers crossed) start to bush out I'm not gonna have enough space in this particular res right? How much space should I allow per plant? I could buy additional res's...

These have been veg'd under a 100w CFL and recently a grolux fluro...
they're definately ready to be flowered right? Very big fan leaves and I haven't topped them at all....

I would have preferred to grow SOG style but these were grown from seeds (I will find a mother amongst these, take clones and do SOG for my second grow)... help.

ps - I will be flowering under a 400w HPS in a bigger room.
pps - I do realize there is a pair of stockings sitting on the res

when u take out the males if ne it should a little more room

I would say flower soon or you'll be dealing with some really big plants.

He'll be dealing with big plants anyways, but yeah, flower soon. Expect your girls to grow at least another 12-18 inches during flower.

doesn't matter if all but 1 are male. a 400watt hps isn't going to penetrate through 60" of canopy

Why not veg under the HPS. I have never seen WW look like that before. IMO you would of had lot less stretching and a fuller plant with the HPS in veg. What do I know, I have never actually completed a grow yet.

Are they from seed or clone ?

Yeah these are from seed, haven't been topped or pruned once...

So it's worth purchasing a second 400w then? Or what about adding CFL's for side lighting?

I don't think they've stretched all that much, they're a foot at the most...

i would put a bigger reservoir on there so that it gives more room for roots to grow during flowering. roots grow alot in dwc when first going into flowering just like the rest of the plant will too. i would cut those lower fan leaves off. casting a lot of shade around the plant and not really doing much for it.

feel free to pm me for help with sog dwc. i recently have been into this but i just ran into a problem myself today and had to make my own help thread, so i may not be the best for advice.
plants look pretty good by the way. big bastards but they are healthy.

Yeah they are big, I might take a bunch of clones tonight for the next batch (gotta be a future mother in there somewhere!) and start flowering..

I will get a bigger res tank as you said, the roots are gonna be massive once these puppies start flowering..

i prune my mother plants @ every node so the top splits there 2 times and i can take 2 clones at every node usually.
not good to do for a plant that you want bud from though......

There going to double in size atleast.. give em rooM!
