First post! :D It's been 2 weeks since I transplanted her outside and she's been growing pre-flowers like crazy! Is this normal? It is Amnesia Haze (bagseed), 4 months in veg phase :) I hope I posted in the right category :P

I started it from seed in March and it was kept in a pot inside and when I topped it first pre-flowers appeared. That was about a month ago. It will have 2 more months in veg. atleast.

That looks like its just going into flower not pre flower. When the plant was indoors how much light did it get? All the time?

It was always more than 12, and now it gets around 15. I worry that I planted it too early :( I know they are preflowers because they are not growing from the middle, but from the side.

like i ssaid this happene to me last year, they were all ruined. still budded, but awfully, worst grow ive ever done. im starting mine now and keeping it on 16 8 to avoid this. my advice would be to start new now, and dont keep em on 24/0

Thanks for the fast replies everyone!
When I get home I'll post more pics upclose :)
Would it be a good idea to remove the preflowers?

In all honesty....you do not have to. Give it a decent dose of some n and and try to starve them of p or k right now. I had a plant a few yrs ago start full flower in late may and she still produced over a pound of sticky icky. That was my first outdoor grow and I didnt know about the lights and how I should taper them off before I transplant.

image.jpg This is her April 22nd, right after topping she made two small preflowers and continues to make them on every node. Could this be triggered by stress?
I'll try some high N fertilizer, thanks :)

Yeah...I gave mine a high dose yesterday.... I started noticing some stretching and preflowers. All these dark rainy days I think might be whats causing mine. I top dressed with some urea tho.

My hunch is it needed more indoor light. I think for vegging you normally should aim for at least 14hrs of light before flipping, I don't feel comfortable vegging for anything less than 16hrs a day, 17.5+ hours being the ideal i.m.o.

Not always
You're right, and the lack of leaf yellowing seems to contraindicate that. It's just the first thing that I suspect when I see it. I don't like to see it and never have believed it is just a trait of the genetics, and if it is, then those are weak genetics IMO. To me it is never a good sign.
