I am in the unfortunate situation where I need to stop the side growth of plants. The plants are growing too big(too bushy, wide) for my closet and it wont be another 3-4 weeks before I can move them to a better location.
Can I top(cut the side branches) the sides of the plants to stop the plants from growing too bushy? If yes how many branches( or stems ) can I cut at a time before hurting the plant too much?( My friend suggested to top 4 branches at a time...)
As you can see from the picture my plants are way too big for the current setup, they still have another foot to spare vertically but I there is no more space for them to grow more side branches.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.
