Top your plants

Hey i have a few females that i have been growing for about 2 months now but i have been meaning to top them a long time ago. I jus havent because when i top them i want to clone the tops that i cut off and i wont have my cloning gel until this coming friday... Here are a few pics of the plants i want to top and clone.

My question is:
-Would it damage the plant too much if i were to cut the plant 3-6 nodes down so i can have only a few main stalks that will flower?

No, it shouldn't harm the plant. Just make sure to leave at very least two nodes, each with two branch sprouts. I like to leave three.

Topping will not help you, more light will.

i know but i have been on a budget so only have fluorescents n am limited on space.. thats y i decided to top my plants thanks
