Topping and transplanting autos

Hey guys, so I have 4 different strains running , first indoor grow , and I'm looking for some good advice here . I want to top my autos to keep them shorter and I believe easier to maintain , I have 4 seedling all about 2 weeks old . Is it safe if I top them all once they reach the 3rd node and then transplant them the same day ? Or is this too much stress ? Anyone do this ? Thanks in advance

If it were me, I’d transplant first, give it until the 4th node, then top.

I'd top it, see how it goes and either way start growing photoperiods and learn to clone. Thank me later.
