topping to get 2 or 4 main colas is this all ??

You can get 6-8 with FIMming and then topping the new tops.

i use defoiliating and lst to get like 12 colas for this size plant and was compairing this to topping and fimming i dont
think its right that ppl cut the tops or splite them if defoiliating is wrong then wtf are you doing taking tops off is my thought
so in compairing them which is better for the plant taking some leafs off or entire tops anyone see the ironey here lol

LST and Topping is your friend imo. If you train the plant to grow along the ground then top it when its as big ground grown you will create alot more tops then if you LST it and left the main top alone.
Example:
Grow the plant along the ground for 4 or 5 sets of leafs then top it and you will get 8 to 10 tops. I've done this with Basil and other kinds of herbs and it works very well imo.
In the end as long as you have room for the roots in the pot or tub you can keep vegging it at that height you can get alot of tops. The most I've had on 1 plant was 8 tops on a 1 foot tall plant with no FIM or LST

mmm i didnt think about it that way but what could it hurt trying lst topping and defoiliateing well i know what im doing now lol thanks toolage
