hey everyone, this is my first post of what will be alot in the future. I have absolutely no idea how to grow, but it is something i am interested in. Just like a plant or two nothing fancy ( just an experience I want to try and it would be fun) My grandparents use to grow for tons of years in new york, but for them all they did was take some seeds and use some fertilizer and place it on the window and water it accordingly. as my first noob question I wanted to know if it is possible to grow weed in south florida on a windowsill. I will have many other questions in a few months when I actually move in to my new place and start deciding what types of seeds to buy. I want to thank everyone already if you answer my dumb questions.

you can grow in a windowsill im doing it in new york and its way nicer in florida im sure but the plants dont grow as good as right outside plus they dont grow up they stretch toward the window. you said something about your grandparents growing and using fertilizer just in case you dont know you shouldnt fertilize them right away let them grow a few nodes first i dont know totally what im talking about im new to growing too i just figured maybe you could learn from my mistakes anyway keep posting im interested to see what plants would do grown the same way as mine with a better climate
Thanks I am going to University of Florida soon and I am planning on growing in my dorm room a plant or two, so you see why I would want to grow on a windowsill. When I get there I am going to start doing the research to grow a perfect plant. It seems complicate, but I am willing to take the chance.

It only seems complicated because we make it so. Remember that it really is just a weed and it badly wants to grow.

I've done the window & balc. thing for many yrs. Hell yeah it works picasso's right ( I reped you dude ) What's complicated is sorting through what works for you. Just go slow with the nutes. Wait for more nodes, Start nutes diluted at first & build up. Don't over water, let baby look for food. I'm trying cfl's this year for 1st time, So I'll probably pay the price for some a...hole move, but you know what ??? It's part of the fun and rewards...
