Transplant Disaster

started my first grow about a week and a half ago. Like an idiot i didn't add any perlite or vermiculite. Because i didn't wan't the roots to suffocate i decided to attempt to take the plants out and and some spacers.

Because the soil had become compacted clumps of soil, and roots along with it, broke off all three of my girls. (they were all in 3 gal pots. making things more difficult.)

I've already started several new seeds, but i can't just throw these babies away. I jus gave them a good watering and have them on 24/0 light. What i want to know is how soon after transplanting can should i add some nutes.

Also, I put one germed seed in the ground today, and i'm going to have it 12/12 from the start. (just as an experiment :weed:) how soon should i start giving the plant light nutes treatments?
I've read of people on here going with nutes from seed (during the party cup challenges), and also read not to fro several weeks???
any thoughts

A lot of soil has nutes in it for a good amount of time. If its soiless I believe you can add light nutes right away.

Back-up the truck, you started seedlings in 3 gals?...and then just started more??. Your containers are much, much too large for starters.

With your soil & the fact your a new grower no nutes until the plant has 4 or 5 sets of leaves, this should take about a month after the plant comes out of shock.

When you do fertilize use extremely small amounts of nutes infrequently,i allways reccomend new growers only fertilize once in veg & once in bud & if using pre fertilized soil to use 1/8 strength if the nutes are store bought nutes with high percentages of npk.

Most new growers way over fertilize trying to speed things up,or just think they constantly need to be doing something for the plant because more is better.

Dont listen to stupid shit saying you can feed plants heavier either, its best you start off very slow ,then once you have learned what the plants need & what amount to give them then you increase nutes, not any sooner.

If you get in a hurry & cant wait to fertilize or use heavier amounts you will end up with sick plants.
