transplant or no?

So I currently have 2 outdoor babies (and 2 attempts of cloning). The 2 biggest plants are in 5 gallon buckets. My biggest one is now half again as tall as the bucket itself, so Im worried it will soon become rootbound.

If I were to keep it in the bucket, Im guessing it would reach a maximum of 5ft tall, but would it bud properly?

Should I transplant it into the ground? If so, how the hell do you get a plant out of a 5 gal bucket with minimal damage? Im sure I would need a trustworthy friend to help out, but still how do you do it?

5 gallon pot will work for a 5 foot plant, but more is always better. Try to avoid transplanting during flower, do whatever during veg.

I heard 1 gallon per month of growth is adequate, If you're going to let it veg forever then let the soil dry flip it upside down while holding the bucket, grab the base of the stem and gently wiggle it out.

if its till in veg or first 1 or 2 weeks of flower i would say to plant it in the ground, just dig a huge ass hole and fill it with good soil, so yer dig a 20 gallon hole, or get a huge fucking pot for it :)
