Transplant question

My three plants right now are about 1 foot tall but they are in very small pots and now I noticed that they have roots coming out of the bottom of the pots so I need to transplant them to at least 1 gallon pots - they are 2 weeks into flowering.

The soil that they are in now is a custom mixture made by my friend with all kinds of goodies in it. I may not be able to get a hold of him to get some more soil so if I have to buy soil for the new pots can I get away with buying some prepackaged soil from the store?

I feed them nute water with 10-30-20 blooming nutes and there is also molasses in the water as well.

I am hoping that I can get away with a store bought bag of soil since I am adding all these nutes to it and the original soil they are in right now is high quality.

Also should I wriggle some of the roots loose if they are root bound when I pull them out or should I just leave them as is?:wall:

ur fine to transplant, there is no stress, only human error. and as for soil i would reccommend Fox Farms Ocean forest, but any organic (non-NUTRIENT) soil the nutes in the MG soil r too stong and damage ur plant

I use Black Gold soil less mix it has 0.05 - 0.0 - 0.0 N P K and it is organic so you can still add your own nutes. I haven't used the Fox Farm ocean forest yet but I've heard good things about it! Good luck!

I'm not sure what you are saying...

I live in costa rica so my options are very limited. Basically I am going to go to the home depot style place and buy some bag of soil that is probably all written in spanish that I don't understand :s
