Transplant Question

Greetings RIU!!!! Love the site, been lurking for years, now im in action.

I have some seedlings that i need to transplant,

When I do so, Can i cover the majority (2/3) of the stem with dirt in the new pot? The reason is, I had some major strecccccching right off the bat unfortunately.

I thought that would be the most logical idea. Bury the plant up a little.............

Other than that, I think they are coming along ok, had some temp issues and still trying to get everything squared away on the STEALTH setup.

Yep, just don't keep the soil soaked, or the stem could rot. That's mostly a concern for the first week or so, til the plant takes off. Then, it's not so risky.

No problem man, glad it helped. :)

I keep mine in cups until they're about 6" tall, give or take 2". Basically, you want to get them transplanted when the roots have filled the cup. After that, it starts to slow them down, and should be transplanted.

Yeah, they seem to be kinda standing still, very slow growth, maybe its the genetics or my fault. Doing my best. They are 21 days old from the time they hit the soil as sprouts. They were soaked for 24hr/towel for 2-3 days, 100% success. Dropped them into cups, they took off, stretched a little, grew to 4-5 inches and now continuous, but slow growth. No leaf issues, they look fine. I think HEAT is the major issue. Plus, i do believe it is time for new containers.

The strain is Papaya, and mine look wayyyyy smaller than the ones ive seen, for its age. But, im a NOOB, so maybe its just fine. Sorry for no pics, i want to post, but i think simply posting on here is out on the limb enough, thanks again guys and gals!!! RIU and SMOKE IT!!

^Yep, it's time for a transplant. Go to at least a 1 gallon pot, and you'll see 'em go through a nice growth spurt. Best of luck to ya. :)

Well, space is limited in my super small veg cab, putting them into square pots, not too much more room, but a little more. And yes, it was time, I pulled one out and the cups are full of roots. Still need to get my flower cab going, thanks!!!!!!!

Got them all into the square pots, yay!! Sweet, think i may try out some WW later down the road. Started my 2nd with Fem Papaya, it looks like it is going to be the shortest / bushiest plants ive ever seen. Looks awesome, even though they are small now. Here in a couple weeks, Ill drop them into 3gal for a couple weeks, then flower. Going to FIM then Scrog 3, FIM then monstercrop 2. I am pretty sure i want to keep this in my inventory, going to exploit it for a while. Then I will start in on some Fem Blue Mystic, same deal.

Thanks!!!!!!!!
