1st time posting I Transplanted 19 plants that grew from seed from a 10 place small flood n drain system. (I had 2 to 3 plants in each bucket & they were crowded, 6 - 10 inches tall when we transplanted and growing great) Filled new Ebb n flow with RO water and raised PPM to 420 with Cal Mag then added nutriants to 920 ppm. Adjusted ph 2 5.8. I then tansferred 5 more seedlings that were 6 inches tall into remaining 5 buckcets. Within 2-3 days lower leaves were yellowing & plants were droopy. Hydro shop told us water temp was 2 high, (76 Degrees F in 50 gl nut drum outside room, Ph raises to 6,1 & nutes raise from 920 to 960 after each feeding) We were told to lower temp in 50 gl drum and add Hygro as we had not put any in. We added proper hygro. and let it run thru 1 cycle & the Ph went up again from 5.5 to 6.0 and the nutes went up again from 590 to 620. So, like the newbies we r, we emptied 1/2 the 50 gl drum and filled it filtered tap water (string & carbon big boy like) The ppm came dn 2 520 & we took Ph dn to 5.5. We let it cycle till next day and the same thing is happening. Each time it cycles the ph goes up 3-5 and the ppm goes up 200 - 300. We have decided to start totally over & have emptied the 50 gl drum. The gro room is 9x9x6H. Can someone please tell us what we should do?
