Transplanting hack

So I grew some clones I got off a friend, got em inside right now under my 600w hps while i wait for it to warm up outside so i can put it on my roof. Doing lst btw, I want them in 10gal pots when on the roof and I already have built a platform for them up there. I went from solo cups to 1 gal pots and could tell they needed re-potting but didnt want to jump to 10gal right away because of limited space in the basement. So I put them in 5gal pots but what I did is cut the 5gal pots completely in half and duct tape them back together so that when transplant time comes it will be easy work! I didnt want to cut the buckets with the plants in them cause I could possibly damage roots. Seems like a good idea to me hopefully it all works out well with very little stress to the plants. I will update this post with pics to let you all know how it goes, wish me luck.

Waiting for the warmer temps, I plan on getting them put into the 32 gals by next weekend may 16th. I bring them outside on nice sunny days to take advantage of the sunlight

So this is the setup, I know they are too close together but my original plan was to use 5 gal pails then changed my mind to 10 gal, and after searching this forum I decided to go with 32 gal garbage bins which I had kicking around so I figured why the hell not, ill see how it goes maybe next year I might widen it

Well I gotta say the transplant was a breeze, will have to grab more soil tomorrow and get the other 3 in

I've been bending them down I was going to continue to grow it that way, keep tying them down as it grows and then build a screen with supports to go over top of it all, scrog it. I think it will help with the wind factor. I think it should work? No? Or should I go with the trellis? Hmmm

Oh no that was last summer, i have 6 month of snow so he vegged from may to august and than i brought them in the garage and finished them on HPS as it was frozen outside. at harvest they were 2 feet taller than the treillis
