Alright so I have three girls in this five gal. Pot. They are in week 4 of flowering but they have not grown but maybe 2 inches since switching to 12/12. I'm thinking I need to repot them but I'm not sure as to how as I am sure the roots are all tangled please help

Four weeks in flower is too long for me to attempt transplant.

But...I grew three sativa's in a five gallon bucket. When they went past two feet I put a velcro band around the whole group 'cause they were splaying out.

More than enough media for all three plants, yields were good.

The way I transplant, more would be lost separating the roots than any possible gain in the last four weeks of flowering.

Yep I am in soil I wait until the soil is cracked before watering. They are sativas and by three weeks they were covered in trichs and budding nicely. They smell amazing and look good but they just won't grow my grow room is always between 72 day 67 night. I have a shit ton of cfls and tubes 3000 k . I am at a loss I see everyone else's pics and mine don't look anything like those ill post some pics here in about five minutes. If there is anything specific anyone wants to see just ask and ill snap it and put it up ASAP. I appreciate the advice guys and I know the pot is to small because I am starting to see what look like roots on the top soil. Fml

plants don't continue to gro upwards once the flowering has finalized, they just build bud growth. if kept well fed and watered they'll be ok or you could transplant if you want also it's no big deal to them.

florescent light is rich in UV light it will make stems turn red, sort of like a suntan to them.

like above mentioned its all good lots of strains go red stems not to worry your plants will prob grow some more a well ther just possibly transforming into more flowering mode

I have heard a lot of good and bad about sativas but I love that high! Was thinking about trying an indica or two next time. How long did your sativas take to harvest once you started flowering?

Alright can I just plug that in or do I have to change my whole set up? Should I keep all the other lights? And what do I need to look for in wattage spectrum etc? I have no problem spending a little to get my yield up.

along with a new light comes other problems like heat issues, unless you're fully prepared to address these issues then I'd just get a nice t5 , hardware store lighting?? I dunno , I suppose. but I'd shop online for products made for the purpose, its really too late for this grow but its not too late for the next one.unless that is theres a local hydro store then I say support your local businesses! especially the mom and pop ones, fuck the corporate bastards(although you can't beat their price).

sure you can keep all your lights, HPS only comes in one spectrum orange you'd have to splice a power cord onto the connectors. I used a 150 watter and a lot of cfls. It'll pay for itself in one grow. Idon't know what size if any is available in your area.

Yeah we don't have a garden store within sixty miles let alone a hydro store. We are not in a very enlightened area. Well I just found two 100 watt bulbs. I replaced my cfl cones. One is just a yellow 100 watt the other is a hundred watt halogen is this a good idea or not I feel a temp diference already I see a 7 degree change on the thermometer and its been like two minutes

neither is any good except for a room heater.

Alright I'm gonna pull em out then cuz it got hot as hell in there its now like fifteen degrees hotter. I increased the fans but it didn't seem to do shit. If I just leave it with the cfls and tubes would it be alright? I am looking right now at how set UPS but I'm gonna have to revamp my whole grow room. I guess my question is will they die if I don't get the new lights?

Oh and just some history on this grow wich is my first. When I had em in veg I fucked up bad and had the lights like four feet away and they grew like shit. They have never really seemed to recoup.
