I know my ladies are ready to move out of these 1.7 gal pots. I've read elsewhere that it's a good idea to transplant them when they are still damp from the last watering, not too dry, to help keep the roots together. It has also been suggested that I get the soil in the new 5 gal pots wet before transplanting, then watering thoroughly once the transplant is done. Won't this lead to overwatering? I don't want to stress them anymore then I have to.
How do you guys handle things at transplant time?
