Transplanting question

I just transplanted my plant into a bigger pot because i found out that the one i had it in was to small. I did this today and tomorrow will start the 5th week of flowering. when i took the plant out of the pot, the main root ball was in good shape and still intact but i ripped some of the lower roots my mistake. Is this going to affect anything? This was probably a stupid thing to do at this stage of growing, i hope this doesn't kill the plant of effect it in any way. Any insight on this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I would never transplant past week 2 or 3 of flowering. Most of the root growth has already been done and you will just do more harm than good if you mess things up, like you did. Im pretty sure that either of these two things will happen: 1. The roots will grow back, but you just added 2-3 weeks to your flowering cycle for the plant to regrow the root system you ripped. 2. Your roots do not grow back and you have negatively impacted your yield and can do nothing. Always, Always, veg the plants for at least 2 weeks in the pots they will be flowering in then dont mess with them.

this hapened to me ( but i am still in veg ) and it takes 1 to 2 weeks for the roots to grow back in veg, so in flowingering i cant imagine, the plant will look wilted and droopy for the time being sorry =(
