I was wondering, if need it be, what is the best way to transport lets say 2 plants, a hour or so away. Is this do-able and if so what would be the best way to go about it?

You want to wrap them in newspaper and put them in a box where they wont be rolling around, if its only an hour away then the plant really shouldnt suffer. Just have its space ready when it gets there so you dont interupt the 24hr photoperiod too badly.

Roll the newspaper around the pot corkscrewing upwards like a spliff, tape the corner on top over the top of the plant. This should provide protection while they travel.

Ive moved plants many times 6 inches to 3 feet tall the little ones fit nicley into a small cooler. do the speed limit where your seet belt and youll be fine.

sounds like a good plan..........

i was more or less asking if it's highway driving or back roads. but i guess none of the really matters with how small the plants are. you can just throw them in a box like speedhabit said and put them in the trunk. and dont have anything else in the car, don't be smoking, speeding..... you know the drill I'm sure.

I moved a 5 foot plant last year after a friend got divorced..I tie rags around main stem about every foot and make a big ball...that way the leaves have less chance of getting broken off..I had to lay the plant on it's side in a van..it took 2 of us but I also started at the bottom and kind of held the leaves up so we could put some cardboard around it to hold everything up...broke a few leaves but no broken stem.......
