Has anyone tried to make a net trellis that attaches to the pot?

Scroggers do that with PVC and or wood all day long. I like PVC, easy to adjust by attaching different sections, legs, etc.

When I first started training, I used a circle of strong Bonsai wire and merely attached it to the branches. Then trained subsequent branches to the circle. Worked pretty good.

I was thinking of just using some sticks/pvc pipe, zip ties and 2x2 sheet of white barrier fence mesh as the trellis. My friend is using this orange barrier fence mesh for his trellis and that shit hurts my eyes...

Go for it. There's an advantage to doing it that way. You can move plants around for watering and such....whereas in scrog you can't.
