Considering that the color of the trichomes can help in determining when
to harvest, I purchased a digital microscope. It's the vms-100
from veho and cost fifty or sixty bucks. I have been using a jewelers loupe
and a handheld lighted microscope like the kind that they sell at the hydro
joints for about twenty bucks. It was doing the job but I wanted to get
a closer look... Who doesn't?. Two of the photos are taken with a digital
camera and the three close-ups are with the microscope. And an added feature
is that you can save the photos to your computer which isn't possible with the
typical hand held models. Pretty cool for the money.................Happy Trails.
