trichomes vs pistils

i have a few plants that are very close to harvest. i went out and bought a 10X mag glass to check my trichomes. i am growing skunk/ citral strain which is sativa or sativa dominent hybrid. October 15 is going 2 make it 10 weeks of flowering. The trichomes are looking cloudy and amber colors but the pistils are only 40% browning.What should i go by? Ive heard that the trichomes are more accurate than pistils. What up? in some areas the trichomes are slighty white. i am a first time grower and put alot of work in and im trying to be patient with harvest time. Please help me out.

Go by the trichomes! It sounds like its ready to be harvested now.

Sativas go for 12-14 weeks max.
Wait for the 12 weeks imo,all though you can harvest some sativas after even 8 weeks if they are very good but they wont be nearly as good

reviving an old thread but.... amber trichs are more of a body high while milky trichs are more of a cerebral high. imo id harvest when the trichs are milky cuz the brain high is what i like

Yea I harvested mine this year when there was only 10% amber rest milky and it makes me all hyper for about an hour and then I don't even get tired afterwards. It's pretty great. I think this strain is my pride and joy! The only problem is it came from bag seed and I don't know what strain it is! I call it myonics! Yesssss
