Tricking my climate controller into thinking it's daytime all the time.

I want to make my climate controller think it's daytime all the time so I don't have to always swap plants that are flowering to my second room so my veg can be under CO2 supplementation all the time. My Sentinel CHHC-4 has a light sensor that turns CO2 generation off during the dark period. If I can get it to stay on all night I don't have to move my plants about so much(the air between the veg/flower, empty/climate controlled is constantly being exchanged by a 400cfm fan in both directions.) Can I take a 9V battery, tape it to a led and tape it with a thick layer of duct tape onto the light sensing part of the sensor unit w/ no danger and a decent amount of battery life?

can you move the sentinal to the veg side of the room? then you'll still save 6 hours of co2 time????

The cord is to short to move just the sensor, I can't move the unit because it needs to be by the CO2 burner, which is on a short line from my gas main.
