Hard time knowing if my trichomes are clear or cloudy. This picture is from my second plant. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. I was told last week that I need at least two more weeks. Thoughts appreciated

Yea, I didn't have enough light and then added too much light. Burnt them pretty bad. Super damaged. Buds still look delicious tho - to me at least.
Thought I uploaded a different photo. Yea, those leaves are supposed to be smaller, maybe sugar leaves. These got weirdly big and the shape is so strange. Here's my sun damaged one

Regardless of the trichomes it's obvious from the first picture that the plant isn't ready for harvest. I don't even look at the trichomes anymore. I think too many growers are taking the cloudy/amber trichomes too far and chopping based just off of that despite plants still putting out new pistils with no swelling of the calyx's. Trichomes will change before a plant is ready in some instances.

How do you judge readiness then?
