Trimming advice needed.

1st grow and I know she isn't 100% ready. I accidently "bruised" the steam when trying to straiten some buds that were falling over. Decided to clip and 'quick dry' (brown bag in sun method) before some family comes in a week or so.

My trim skills obviously need work. When I try to cut or pull any more sugar leaves I end up pulling pistils out. Do I need better equipment? Thanks for any advise.

Those scissors are no good for trimming. Get some fiskars or something similar.

or these 'grape scissors' i like using those ..
