Trimming during veg?

This is my first grow and I was wondering if it is good to trim some of the smaller bottom leaves during the veg cycle. They get in the way of watering and don't seem to be getting much light. What's your thoughts boys and girls?

no leave all the healthy leaves on during veg. when it starts to flower and stretch i cut the bottom branches off so the plant can focus on producing heavier main colas, then those bottom popcorn buds.

i always trim the bottom 6" off my plants. leaves, branches, everything till the bottom 6" is just stem. as i said all the energy yhat it would of put into those branches will effect the ones you left by making buds denser/bigger.

You can cut them if you want. Branches will sprout out of them eventually, and these are usually the best bits to clone (unless you're topping) because cutting them off won't make a dent in your yield.

A lot of people go on about how it'll help fatten up the other buds. Sounds somewhat logical, but I doubt the impact is really that great. For me those bottom branches are tasters to be quick-dried a week or two before harvest :-P
