Trimming Fan Leaves?

My plant is currently flowering and shes about a month away from being chopped. I saw a video today where some1 trimmed the fan leaves a week or so b4 he cut his and i was wondering if you guys advise doing this. I know the fan leaves hold a lot of energy but wouldn't it just give more energy to the buds? I don't know if it makes a difference but my plant is an auto. Please let me know what you guys think. THANKS.

I don't trim fan leaves until they're yellow. I let plants grow naturally.

Yeah didn't think so haha just wanted to make sure. i've had many grows b4 where i pluck multiple leaves off thinking it doesn't effect the plant but this time ive actually got a good set-up and at nice looking plant. id be very upset if i caused her any harm or reasons to yield lower.

Sounds good. Post some pics if you can too, that always helps and is nice...

id love to believe me id really love to. but i'm not equipped with a nice camera or the knowledge of how to post on here. She's an AK47 - Lowryder #2 mix "EasyRider" and im expecting about 2 oz's from her. Shes my baby <3
