trimming question

ok ive been reading alot of posts but cant find quite what im looking for. when i pull my plant and hang it up side down do i trim before hanging or trim when its dry? silly question but important ha. thanks riu

It's personal choice but easier when it's still wet.

trim when wet. Its much harder and messyier when they are dry.

Like they said, it is a shitload easier to trim when wet. I like to get right down to the buds as close as possible. Then all the small trimmings get kept for making hash.

You should take all the fans off asap. The rest of it(small eye leaves)-For me personally...I clean these as I smoke the bud and save them for hash. Fan leaves and otherbunk gets cooked for binder(after dried). I even grind my stringy buds in with the eyeleaves. It looks better after they're pressed into the binder.

If your going to hang the whole plant. I would trim the fan leaves off first. Leave the small leaves loaded with trics if your going to make hash. Hang the plant to dry. Then trim the small leaves when you break it down to go into jars.

If you're going to hang the whole plant you should remove all the fan leaves. Whether or not you want to manicure before it's dry is up to you. Keep in mind that hanging the whole plant will take longer to dry, and the smaller the stalks you break it down to the quicker it will dry. If you're in a place with typically higher than average humidity I would break it down into branches to hang instead of the whole plant.
