Trimming the shade leaves?

I scrog but I dont cut any leaves off other than the low branches all together.. Those leaves are the plants "solar panels".. I would do more research before going down that avenue..

Yeah your plant needs those leaves especially right now when it's young. Some people suggest trimming leaves so that lower foliage gets penetrated by light but that is their main source of energy and I wouldn't recommend it. There are better methods like Low stress training, proper pruning and supercropping.

Those leaves are what makes bud later so if you cut them that is less smoke for you,,,,better yet less for your bad advice buddy

Im a firm believer in not trimming fan leaves..They are the main place where photosynthesis takes place and store things your plant needs for flowering.look up trimming fan leaves a concensus..id find the link but im on my itouch

Baaad idea. Especially on that plant. As has been said, light changes to food, light is gathered thru the leaves. Dont cut them. Tell your buddy to grow and cut on his own shit.

im his buddy so i started to grow 13 on my own and cut every first identifiable leaf 50% ........jk about being his buddie but im experimenting with fan leaf cutting from get go. i posted in advanced cultivation....i am going for unidentifiable pot plants. small straggly bent over like retarted cats. obviously ur not gonna get yield or dominant fire but if ya have 6 of those losers that have been butchered all their lives with 5 grams a piece at harvest and ur neighbors had no idea its worthed for the outdoor......alas i do have a femmed expensive seed that is my main girl and i aint touchin her.....
dont cut leaves unless you got a ton of plants or dont care what really happens.....cutting leaves is devastating....
im actually gonna cross polinate with a vine flower so my weed will grow up a trellis vine like muah ha ha hamuah ha ha ha.......
