Triple G (GG#4 x Gelato#33)

I'm really starting to think she likes this mainlining. She's 5 weeks+2 Her stem is starting to look swoll. It's like she does a thousand reps of shoulder shrugs daily. I thought I'd share so far. Can't find much info about this strain.

It's from Royal Queen seeds. The name "Triple G" was also the nickname of the "original" OG (Ghost cut).

I understand that yours is mid level 20's in potency.

Really though, I don't get the idea of this cross. Must just be for the "name recognition" of each part.

Now I took an "EARLY"GG#4 and crossed it with Bruce banner. The "reason" was many of my PTSD patients liked the GG#4 but had issues with how it made them paranoid at times and sometimes severely.

I figured that I might try crossing her with Bruce Banner and shoot for holding the GG type of buzz but hopefully the BB would take the paranoia out.

It took only the first round of pheno hunting to find it. Out of 3 "hunters", we each found what I was looking for in the first 750 bean (total among us) pheno hunting run.
After culling and sampling. I took the winner plants, and cubed them for stability.

There are only 6 growers with this strain. 2 of them are breeders and they are free to work the strain.
The only rule is "CLONE ONLY" sales and the price is high per hand picked/rooted clone.

That was a breeding project with purpose. I don't "get" the GGXGelato cross.

Sounds pretty bad ass for what you have going, would love to try the smoke but I am excited for mine also. Only my second grow for personal use and sounds better than any other cannabis i've been smoking. What makes this a poor choice for the breeders crossing a strain? I'm curious now.

GG#4 as a stand alone (yeah, got a very, very early version of it - original). Is a great strain! It's got everything you want in a mind numbing and trippy sort of way. It can make you do things like forget where you are, and what you were going to do. - Did that after 4 stout bong rips and got behind the wheel. Made it 5 minutes from the house and was lost!. Got to the cross road and remembered BUT, had the wife take over driving. -She laughed her ass off at me. Said she was waiting till we got there!

Now a good pheno of gelato. Mmm, couch locky and you get the first part of the buzz as you exhale. Another great buzz.

But here's the point. Neither one brings anything to the table, to mix with the other, and improve the the outcome.....

GG#4 was an accidental crossing. For some reason, It's about perfect the way it is. Unless you suffer from PTSD. That paranoid feeling sucks for those folks!


BTW, The potency of the GG X BB cross. FAST hitting and actually a higher THC then the GG. Not a lot but a cpl of whole points? Is kinda a big thing for the GG to gain but, loose it's paranoia at the same time.
