These are the babies at 40 days from seed. They have been on 12/12 for 15 days. Obviously slow growth. There is no good signs of sex yet. I'm happy to wait. I've lost some of the lower leaves do to various problems, so they look a little bit leggy. I checked the root mass and the roots are not growing in circles yet. The plants do use up water about every 3 days now. I water from the bottom by dipping them deep into a tall glass of water and letting it soak upwards. They are still alive and growing, so I'm happy to watch. The next major step will be to find the females and start them on a little LST. I imagine I'll transfer these to the next largest pot within about 3 weeks and bury a little bit of the stem while I'm at it. I've got some pretty strong stems due to a decent breeze from my fans. Any comments criticisms welcome.

Update. 12/12 for 30 days today. Of 4 plants I got 2 males and 2 females. Chucked the males about 5 days ago. It was pretty easy to determine the males, they had big ol nuts and lots of them. I've transferred the two females to larger pots, 2 liter bottles cut down. My soil mixture is 1 cup pearlite, 3 cups MG organic potting soil and 4 cups black gold worm castings. I'll go LST on these girls within the next few days. I plan to send the main stems around in a spiral. I'm guessing I've got about 60 to 90 days left on these girls before they are ready. My yields will probably be low but I'm just happy to be growing. With the new soil mixture and a new abundance of root space I'm guessing these girls will grow a little more aggressively from this point forward. I'll still be giving them decent nitrogen in their diet with plenty of P and K also. Probably about 12N 25P 17K and decent daily nitrogen from the worm castings also. I need my leaves and don't really want to see too much yellowing. The P is high enough to keep the plant plenty health. I get the NPK ratios by combining so many parts MG with so many parts of bloom formula. Watching my EC/TDS/PH pretty carefully. I don't believe in cranking down the N and raising the P to the extremes. Temps seem to be tolerable right now and I've got a good breeze on them with the fan. Plenty of humidity to keep them from drying out from the breeze. A little yellowing on the lower leaves which should dissipate with the new conditions. Comments welcome. Right now I'm a happy grower.

1. Two varieties one fruity and one slightly spicy.
2. Start them in the large pot. 2 gallon pots are good.
3. Takes about 70 days, slower if your train or stress them.
4. Good strength and flavor.
5. Lower yields with CFLs, better with real lighting.
6. Grows about 18 to 22 inches usually.
7. Pretty easy to grow.
8. Lost 50% of the seeds at germination, lost smaller seeds only. Paper towell method.
9. Seeds relatively expensive, but not painfully expensive if you consider the benefits for a stealth or a small operation requiring quick turnover.
10. Works good as a perpetual setup for one person with good nature.
12. With two plants I usually go about 2-3 weeks without smoke between plants but I like to detox before harvest.

Harvested and curing right now. I got a new kitchen scale that weighs to the nearest gram. Here's the honest answer about how much I got off the plant. I got 14 grams after 7 days of drying. I believe that's a half ounce. I've heard of lots of people getting around 20 grams dry or more so I'm not entirely happy with the grow. But I had some root problems and my lights were not properly close to the plant. So I'm pretty happy with 14 grams. It's sad that I spent 90 days from seed to smoke and I've only got 14 grams to show for it. BUT LET ME TELL YOU I FEEL LIKE A KING WITH MY 14 GRAMS RIGHT NOW.

I used MG soil, worm castings and pearlite in thirds. I fertilized according to common practices and fed around 300ppm every other watering. I'm adding molasses to my program for the next grow and my lights are going to be 2inches instead of 4 this time around. It's amazing how much light you loose between 2 and 4 inches (the square of the distance). So I'm going to sign off this tropical stealth grow. See me at my next journal with my AF AK47 by Lowlife
