Trouble with Banana Kush seeds

So I got some Banana Kush seeds and I've been trying to germinate them for about 4 days now. The seeds have cracked and the root is just poking out on all of them but, it won't do anything more than that. I usually wait until the seeds tap root is about a centimeter long but these babies aren't even close to that and they have looked the same for like 2 days now. Ive been letting them soak in water because that's the method I've always used and it's never failed before. So my question is, have any of you grown this strain before and did you have the same problem with your seeds? And also what can I do to get this tap root longer so I can plant them?

never grown that strain before, only smoked it..

i would take them out of the water and transfer them to the paper towel method in a ziploc bag.
close it halfway and put it in a dark warm place.. check back on it in a few hours to see how its looking.
that might get the root longer.

worked for 2 seeds that i had germinating. since they didn't seem to be getting longer in water by 3rd day.

Paper towel method (as long as it's always moist) works 100% for me 'till now.

Thanks I'll definitely try it. I'm just always reluctant to use the paper towel method caus least time I tried that mold killed all my seeds. Probably my fault for making it too wet or something but I'm determined to make these little guys grow so I'm not messing this one up

as CoolDude mentioned that i forgot.. keep the towel moist, but not damping wet. that might've been the prob w/ the mold.
