Trying to become a caregiver in Colorado!!!!!!!!!!!!NEWNEWNEW

So I already live with my wife and my roommate. We are all red card holders and cuurrent. We are already growing our number of alloted plants, but we have alot of friends who would like us to be their caregiver. What do I have to do in order to stay legal about it?

there is already a couple of good threads that cover this in the colorado section.
BUT, to be a caregiver for someone you need to be able to do more then just supply them medicine, the laws now expect you to do household chores and the like to be considerd a caregiver. Im unsure if multiple caregivers can live together at this point or maybe just one of you can become the caregiver and grow for everyone. A singel caregiver can grow for up to 5 patients. if you become the caregiver this means you can have 3 other peoples plants at your house (you, your wife, your roomate, and 3 patients) Because youre allowed to have 5 patients total plus yourself from what my understanding of the laws are.

Also be aware if you become a caregiver and grow for patients you have to register your grow with the state and they are aloowed to come inspect it at any time. This is actually why alot of people have stop being caregivers for other people. They dont want to have to allow the police into their homes any time they like.

Good luck with whatever you decide and I hope I helped at least a little.

Fuck registering as a caregiver. Don't participate in that bitch ass system. I don't know anybody that stayed a caregiver when the laws changed. Grow for yourself and share with whoever the fuck you want just don't get dumb or greedy.

Also, a lot of local city ordinances regarding growing in residential areas has made it pretty difficult to be a caregiver. Some cities have limited the number of plants you can have in your home or limited the square footage of your grow.
