Sup guys, Maybe I’m just high but I’m trying so hard to figure out how could I build a portable scrog net pot/lid that can be used for like 1-3 gallon dwc buckets…. Normally grow in soil so excuse me if I sound dumb but how are people changing the water when plants are in scrog net??? I see some use rdwc but that’s shouldn’t be necessary for my small grow which is 1 plant per room. Others slightly lift lid up just add more but don’t you have to change it completely, and how they check ph like that smh.. Anyway i felt like my solution was to install a scrog net on the lid of dwc buckets. That way I could just remove lid with scrog net to replace water in my buckets. Do y’all know anybody who has something similar? There’s this guy who sell something like it but it’s to big for my area plus it’s for soil grows so it’s connected to pot not lid… nice concept to start with though.. any help much appreciated guys….171C6402-A216-4CDC-A9BF-6E8B7C7F27BD.png3F5054EE-5E7B-4B79-AE34-E8D4FC5891F4.png

drill hole near bottom about prolly inch from bottom to put grommet and elbow with a shut off. When I did dwc I used totes and cut a hole to put my vacuum in and that worked decently but still annoying

Have a friend (a user on here) that used one of those expandable dog/child gate for the screen you'd just need some way to attach it to a bucket

Also don’t use small buckets for stand-alone dwc. It’s a pain to maintain. Big 20+ gallon tote will be much easier. I use 27 gallon totes from Walmart, $15ea. It’s so much more stable than when I was using 5 gallon buckets. Res change is a pain, but only takes a few minutes with a sump pump really. Those small buckets get warm, the ph drifts you’ll save yourself a whole lot of hassle with a big tote.

I use Rubbermaid tubs for my DWC projects and rigged a tub up like this and used it many times.

The fence wire 'floats so as the plants grow upwards they don't bend the screen up or even split the crotches open as they do.

Plant in training.

Would yield about 8oz of dry bud and about the same in popcorn and sugar leaf so is worth tying branches to the wires for a month or so before flipping. The taller totes hold 50L of water and the shorter ones 35.
