TurboKlone recomendations???

so i followed the steps to cloning..had about 70% success rate with rockwool and other kinds of cubes..ended up getting the turboklone 48 site..i cut them, put in water, cut again, put in gel and into the klone machine..after 1 week i saw absolutely nothing..i ended up cutting the same clones again and scraping the ends of them about 1/2 inch..so its been a few days..so we'll see...i let it run for 24/7 under 2 little 2ft t5 bulbs..ive seen that people get a timer and let it go for 1 off 4mins on or the other way around..but the guys at the hydro place said they do it for 24hrs straight no breaks..i expected to see nubs with in 1 week but didnt..so now im waiting on this batch, guys at hydro shop said it could take up to 2 weeks..then what the fuck was the point of buying this machine if it takes the same time as rockwool??any suggestions or comments on cloning id appreciate..thanks

why gel since its washed right off. I'm not familiar with the turboclone but a brief look at it shows me its nothing more than an expensive cloner like you can build for a fraction of the cost. I use a diy made from a small cooler, clonex liquid and the right temperature/ph range and you'll have 100 percent success...

They turn it on and off because the submersible water pump heats the water as it passes through. Do you have any way to accurately check the temperature in you reservoir?

warm water isn't that much of an issue unless its a huge pump or an insulated res.Rooting temps can be as high as 85 F. I do cycle my pump too though, on like 40 seconds, off 3 minutes or better.

well thanks guys..the turbo klone machine comes with a inline fan that blows it as long as its plugged in..dont know the exact temp of the water but it feels good enough..not hot..colder than warm but not cold enough to make me think it was because it was cold..adn i am using clonex solution as well...so time will tell..

yea i know i coulda built one of those for less than 80$..but wanted to get the guarantee of going with something like the turboklone..at first i was going to build one of the DIY ones but ended up not doing so..how long does it take until you get roots or nubs?? i know it depends on strains as welll

If I don't see at least bumps in 7 days something is up. depends on the strain really though. I'm sure the clonex helps.
