turkish420's first ever grow, featuring Subcool's Jack The Ripper!

Whats up!

This is turkish420 and welcome to my first ever grow, featuring Subcool's Jack The Ripper! I'm a first time grower, long time smoker! This is my first journal so bear with me if I fuck up a little bit.
Well, like I said this is my first grow ever and I want to start by saying thanks to my wife for loving and supporting me with this, RIU and all yall on it that gave me the knowledge and support to get this shit started!
I will try not to run on and on.
I ordered 10 TGAs Jack The Ripper seeds. I soaked em over night when I got em. After they cracked, I put em in FF Light Warrior and watered with spring water and 8 popped up! About two weeks later, the other two popped up! (Also got a G13 fem SuperSkunk in there to I forgot to mention!) Just transplanted them the other day into bigger containers filled with FFOF soil and they had almost NO transplant shock! They have a slight Nitrogen deficiancy that I believe is due to me leaving them in small pots in a light soil for to long. FFOF is organic and high in N which I have been told should take care of the problem, so, I will wait to see if the new soil corrects the deficiancy or if I need to take further action. They have been under a 125w cfl hydrofarm light since the beginning and I will be hookin up the 1000w hps in a day or so. Temps run between 70F and 80F and I will be starting them on FF Grow Big in a week and will switch to FF Big Bloom for flowering.

I got my seeds through Attitude. They are TGA Subcool Jack The Ripper, check em out, they say its a "killer" high and the trich production is CRAZY! It took my seeds at least two weeks to get to me, it was nerve racking! But its worth the wait! Blaze and be patient, they'll show up!

Well here's the new update: I got the 1000W HPS hooked up with some help from my friend, i'm runnin a fever so i'm helpin' as much as i can. ('probly more than i should be!) I cant turn it on yet cause im too out of it to hook up the exhaust fan after workin ten hours with a fever and my friend had to go to class so i'll be doin that tomorrow. I'll get yall a pic of the new set up after i go re-hydrate and spark the rest of this blunt.

woke up this morn, still got a fever. . . but i drug my ass up into the attic and got the fan hooked up to exhaust and the light is on with no heat problems. 34" from top of plants, temps 74F! Gotta take care of em!

yeah man I'll be watching your Jack-the-Ripper. Got some going myself started dec30 along with some Dairy Queen. That cold/flu shit was around here a few weeks back. Good luck with it, I even had to stop toking for a few days. grrrr, ha

Hey Turk, got your light going now thats cool, plants will like that. You will want something else for bloom nutes. Big Bloom is great stuff but its more of an all round,soil enhancing, keep your plants healthy type additive. The phosphate analysis is 0.3 and the K is 0.7. Those are very small trace amounts. I like the stuff....keeps the soil full good shit. Start using it a week or two before you switch to 12/12. The name of the product being called Big Bloom is where people get confused I think. FF has some good bloom nutes.

Thanks for the well wishing! Yeah, I'm excited! Havnt put up the filters yet. still kinda out of it, think my fever broke though! I checked out your shit, fuckin sweet! Doin it big! keep in touch!

Thanks for the help! You recommend anything inparticular for a flowering nute thats good with soil? I'm over my fever finally!

Whats up yall!

Heres a quick update with some pics!
They have been responding well to the 1000w hps and I just watered them last night. I cant decide if I wanna top or suppercrop. . . I think Im gonna top em. Oh I forgot to tell yall I got a Siamese Twin in the garden! Two sprouts from the same seed, pretty weird, but I hear the JC bloodline does that from time to time so I'm gonna leave it just to see if it makes it!
