turn food sticks to liquid

ok i've had trouble finding good soil...i recently found good quality soil but it is nutrient free....and today i came across jobes food spikes 13-4-5....i did a lil research and got bad reviews on food spike because you cant control the release.....so my question is....drum roll plz.....would i be able to disolve lil pieces of the food stick in water and water my plants as you would with liquid fertz...or should i take my chances with the directions on the box?...plz dont tell me i need product A or this or that..ive been struggling to get this set up right and i just dont have the resources avalible right now obviously if i had the money or a credit card i would go all out and wouldnt be asking stupid questions.....i will be on here for a lil bit to wait for sum responses...thank you all so much..now time to smoke sum bowls...brainstorm..and wait for you all...thanks again

No, don't melt them down unless you want a very painful *learning experience*.

Try and snag some Jack's Classic or Dyna Gro for under $20.00 online.

If no joy, use the Jobes AS DIRECTED on the box.

I cant believe you found good quality soil thats nutrient free, but you can't find good quality nutrients.. Even using miracle grow as directed or half strength would be better than dissolving plant food spikes..


without revealing too many details about where you're from, what kind of stores do you have in your area? maybe we could help you find something better..

srry i didnt reply sooner...ok i have been calling stores like a madman this weekend and because i live in new england, most stores dont carry soil during the winter. so i called wal-mart and they said next week they will have all there garden supplies...that means next week i will have dirt for dummies(miracle grow moisture control) which i used on my very first grow with excellent results...it made me feel like a PRO my very first grow...so now i can put the food spikes in the trash and move on....it took my own experience to learn, even after reading it countless times...You cant cut corners and take the cheap way out...shitty in -shitty out....i thank you all for your time and i wish you all the best of luck and plz smoke a bowl for me..cause im smoking one for YOU
