Tutorial: Repeat timer hacked for 35 minute hydroponic cycles

I don't claim ownership, I just came across this on one of my favorite hacking sites

"[GrowColt] shows you how to modify a lamp timer for 35 minute hydroponic cycles. You can pick up this type of mechanical timer at most local big box stores for around $5. The timer plugs into an outlet, and the device you want to operate plugs into it. [GrowColt's] end goal is to make the timer repeat every 35 minutes, routing power to the connected device for about 50 seconds each cycle. It will operate the pumps and misters in his hydroponic garden to keep the plants hydrated and keep the nutrients flowing."

heres growcolt's updated vid for different gear boxes. same style i have. took me about a half hour because it was my first mod. needed this for my aerocloner and didn't want to spend a ton of money for the cap recycle timer. $75 vs $5 for the timer and $.75 for a 4 pack of the 5/32 washer. not difficult at all. hope this helps somebody out i know it helped me. happy growing
