Two clones and two seeds 12/12 from the beginning

Well, I really wanted to try growing 12/12 from seed so I'm gonna try it with two clones and two seeds, they are actually 3 seeds but I think one of then is not gonna make it :(

Clones strain: Durban Poison
Seeds strain: 1xDurban poison and 1xCritical+
Lighting night-stand: 63W CLF
Lighting pc box: 31W CLF

At the moment I've got both seeds under 22W CLF 24/0 with one clone and the other clone is already in 12/12.

I'll actually have the seeds under 24/0 light for five days and after that I'll move then to 12/12. The clone that I've under 24/0 I'll move it to 12/12 when it develops some roots to see if it makes much of a difference with the other one I already have in 12/12.

The seeds show the cotyledons on 18/08 and 19/08 and still waiting for the clones to root. I put them in peat moss the 14/08 so I guess it's still a bit soon, but they've got a good color so I'm hopping they'll be fine :)

Well there is not much to see right now but yes, here are some pics:

Critical+ seed: (show cotyledons the 19/08 )

Clone under 12h light:

The only thing that has my attention right now is the height of the DP seed which is 10cm (it was 9cm yesterday). Everything else seems normal :)

Yes, I'm curious myself too, hopping that this 12/12 thing works well coz I've got very little space to grow indoor :) I'll also try LST with this guys when they are ready.

Will keep updating pictures and information.

You are not surprised ? well, this the 18th seed I plant from the same Mather and none of them were more than 6.5cm after 5 days. This one is 11cm after 3 days and it seems to be growing 1cm a day. It's quite a difference from her brothers/sisters.

Yes, it's the first time 12/12 but hopefully won't be the last one :)

What do you plan on using for lighting>What are you expecting to yeild?
Well, what I'm after with this first grow is to learn mostly, see how plants do in 12/12, how to LST, how to fit then in my small night-stand and pc box, how many nuts I should give them and so on. I know that I'll yield less than 30g (1oz) per plant and I'm ok with that. I'll know an approximation of the yield in a month or so because I'll harvest the plants I'm growing right now in the night-stand and pc box.

About the lighting, in the nightstand I'm using 63W CLF and in the pc box 31W CLF. I know I'm a bit short and I'm planning on adding more watts in a 2-5 month period but right now this is what I'm using to grow and this is what I'll use also for the 12/12.

I was feeling a little bit down because of that seed that died so I planted a new one before yesterday. I can see the root pooping up already so I guess It will open the cotyledons today or tomorrow :)

After tomorrow also will be the time to put the first two seeds in a 12/12 schedule. I still have to think what to do with the new one, maybe I'll put it under 12/12 as well or maybe leave 5 days under 24/0 like the other two. The clones still haven't show any sign of roots.

It's the first time I use a peat pellet to sprout a seed, I always do it directly in soil, but it looks real good, I may start using the peat pellets to sprout. Lets see how it goes :)

Here is a picture of them and the new seed:

The two first seeds are already in a 12/12 schedule and the clones haven't show any signals of roots, I guess some gel would have helped so I'm gonna have to be more patient. All of them are healthy. The tall seed is like 12cm (4.7in) so I had to tide it on a stick to keep it strait. The new seed looks a little bit weak and it has a dark green colour, does anybody know why could this be? I hope she can make it :)

do u just pop that seed in a jiffy pellet or do u sprout in paper towel then jiffy pellet Thanks
I did it directly in the jiffy pellet, had to try them and they are not bad. Just made a small mistake. The plant was looking a bit weak and I realized that the root got out from the bottom (could be the reason). I've just transplant it to a pot. Next time I'll transplant it as soon as it shows the cotyledons (that was yesterday) or even a bit earlier.

Here is an update on the plants:

DP18: still as tall as before, here you can see the support I put to keep it strait.

Thisi s the critical+. Looks perfectly fine :)

And this is the new one. Apart from the trouble with the root it seems fine now :) I'm glad it recovered, anyway you can still see that the tips of the first serrated leaves are gone. I'm putting this one in 12/12 today so all of them will be 12/12 from now on.

About the clones, still no sign of roots. I think they didn't have a good environment and also didn't use any hormones so just hopping they'll grow root at some point. Some leaves are starting to turn yellow/brown. Lets see what happens with them :)

lookin good homie! everything seems to be coming along nicely!
Thanks buddy! :)

Hopefully those clones root.
Well, it's actually the second time I clone. First time last year, just one clone, at the end I had to give to a friend because I didn't have any way to grow indoor. It got quite sick but It grew healthy at the end :) Can't remember how long it took to root.

This time I thought I could grow them on my own small indoor, that'd be nice so as far as they are alive, I won't loose hope :D
