Two Level Vertical SCROG - Plant size in veg. and screen design

Hello there.

I am currently building out a two level 5x10x7 space for a vertical grow w. two 1000 watt lights. My strains are super lemon haze and sour diesel. I will be growing in an ebb & gro bucket system w. two controllers - one for the bottom row and one for the top. I intend to grow 20 plants and they will be at the perimiter of my room. This allows a 2x2 footprint for each plant to comfortably grow in, which seems reasonable. I also believe the two level layout vs. one level will minimize the time my plants spend in veg.

The questions:

-How tall and how wide in diameter should I grow in veg. prior to switching to 12x12? I am trying to maximize returns while avoiding an overgrown mess.

-Which do you believe will be more productive - building individual wire frame cylinders for each plant and rotating them 1/4 turn every two days or simply putting them behind a screen and letting them grow?

Thank you for your thoughts.

both stretch pretty good so I would not top and flip early. I like to turn so i would do that method

Since im guessin u can't grow anything taller then 3 feet since ur doing 2 level in 7 tall space. So the max I would veg is 12-15 inches, otherwise they willl grow to big once u flip them into flower.

I topped my babies when they were about 6 inch tall (clones) and they are super bushy! So u can top them and rotate. That's what I do

Thanks for the answers. Would going with a single level be more bountiful? I have both options, I just worry a bit about packing them in too tight. Nobody likes mold. At least nobody I know :-P
