Two plants - one pot

when i transplanted my 6 seedlings i only had 5 pots to put them in, i was going to throw one out but i planted two in one pot instead. Anyway, now the plants are bigger and one is definitely male. rather than trying to separate the roots and throw one out, can i just snip the bottom of the stem and sling it or do i need to get rid of the roots?

Either that, or find the guy who has the most problems on this site and have him take care of the plant for you. :lol:

or if the other is female put them somewhere separate and let him pollinate her and get some extra seeds. thats the other option.

yeah thats always the issue. not sure where you're located but you could always put em outside. natural "flowering" times :D but just watch out for pests. probably wont be a huge issue but if you ran into any bugs theres some organic pest sprays you can use. dont ask me which ones since i dont do much outdoor growing.

NOOOOOOOO!!! remove the whole male roots and all, I had to do the same thing!!! But had 2 females in one pot, If you just cut the male at the soil line the exsiting roots will then start detierating in the soil, BIG NO NO!! and I dont know what would exactly happen to your female, but I wouldnt take that chance, just do a replant, be very careful on how you seperate them, do it in a low lit area and dont worry to much about ripping the roots, some are gonna rip....here is the thread I started when I had my problem https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/71709-just-prformed-triple-bypass.html When shes replanted in a bigger pot give her some Superthrive, 1 to 2 drops in a gal. water, good luck, I'll check back in to see how it went:peace:

superhighme - im in the north west uk so growing outside isnt much of an option.

wordz - i googled two girls and one cup, now i wish i hadnt!

kushmonster - thanks ill try and split them tomorrow. im not really bothered if the other dies, this is my first grow and hasnt gone too well. hopefully second will be much better!

Ehm.. it was a joke. Ok, a bad one.
Just look in the growing problems forum, then select the most frequent poster. That person is the most likely to do the best job of killing that male plant. Now, isn't that so NOT funny since I explained it? I hate when I do that (tell jokes that I'm the only one who thinks they're funny).

i get ya now! i think that person might be me! i think ive made every mistake possible, well not every mistake because i havnt finished yet! ive spent so much money i should of just bought an ounce and got fucked every night instead of stroking/feeding/watering/talking to plants!

ok i do have to admit that one made me laugh:-P, especially since i've been frequently posting in the growing problems section. i thought to myself "i'll kill this thing, no problem"
