Two strains witch is better yeild strain purp OG kush or LA confidential

I have one seedling of both & wanted to see if anyone has grown these strains & have any info to offer about witch yeilds more & has a better high. Im looking for a great Indica strain with good balanced high & liked both of these strains, dont know witch is a better yelder so i can time my clones right as far as harvest times.. as always any help is welcome thanks for your time

I've grown both and my opinion LA Con got one popping the soil right now.

got 4 oz off one in a 5 gallon pot under my 250w

No way!! Thats a great yeild im trying to do don research about strains, since everyone says if the strains no good the yeild will be crap.. im using a 400HPS ballest with 5gl soil container, mix soil osean forest & happy frog in my extra room closet & only harvested once out of 10 reg seed grow so u see my problem lol. Reasearch is the key & i want good strain with great yeild

My last harvest or should i say my first was veg under a floressent & flowered under a 250W & i got less then a Ounce..

My best yield and quality was DNA's OG Kush #18.........great smoke, HEAVY yield. Incredible sour smell and taste. See, you can have both if you search hard enough.

everyone will have a different opinion, it all depends on the grower.

Thanks, i kind of figured that.. do u think it will yeild good under a 400w HPS my past grows were done with 250W so these will be clones & 400w, from what i read if im understanding well clones genetics are better & can yeild more with lil tricks like topping ect..

this dna strain im growing now will beat the LA Con I think, only 3 weeks into 12/12

Danmm! Thoes look wicked how many per pot?? I only grow single pots but thinking of doing 3 in 1..

NO WAY! I had one plant like 7ft tall in my closet, later i found out it was a sativa strain but never finished it had to scrap it cause i didnt know anything it was my first ever grow & couldnt figure how to stop it from growning Lol... live & u learn right

Wow them pics of your plant looks wicked. I see you know your stuff so maybe some advice? I'm in say a 2'x3' closet height around 7'. I have two clamp lights I'm willing to put splitters in each so maybe 4 42w CFL or is that too much? And yes I know I'll need a different one for flowering. But anyway what kind and how many bulbs for veg than flowering please simplify so i can just go and pick it up at homedepot. As soon as someone helps I'll germinate and than plant. Can't wait for this OG to bloom!!

OG Kush is a much heavier high from my experience smoking these 2 strains. LA confidential is a good daytime high if you have to go to do work or be in public though... I've heard OG has good yields

LA Confidential has a rep of being a very low producer, and that was the case of the one freebie I ran. Decent smoke, just not much of it - the runt of an otherwise good grow. The hybrid - Confidential Cheese - I HIGHly recommend for taste, buzz, snd yield.

La confidential is not a heavy yeilder by any means so if anybody got a good yeild off her then imagine what you can do with the better yielding ones..


I would say the purple og 18 would be a way better yeilder.

Purple urkle and white shark are by far nicer than any kush i have used.
purple has a harder time rooting(hydroponics) white shark is easy to root. Both are amazing smokes and eats...I found that the kush is outdated. white shark is by far a better smoke(smell and taste) than any kush i've used. I have bubba as well and it is no where near as nice as the white shark. The purple urkle is amazing....it smells a little like grape and tastes amazing. Anyone who is stuck on Kushes don't know what they are missing.....I love the purple....it is a darker bud(which so many people don't like- y'all need to educate yourselves......the look doesn't matter as much as the smell, taste, and smoke.....It's not like your going to let it sit on the shelf and look at it and say wow isn't it nice and light and green!!!! Your going to smoke it! base your likes and dislikes on smell, taste and smoke......Check out what it does medically-you won't be disapointed.

Purple og18 yields good mind turn purple too and was good smoke but it hermied on me the second time I ran her so it was probably my fault
