stil early...dont worry there not even full sets of leafs yet
yah, what ceeconst says is dead on.. it's wayyyy too early to tell what the plant may look like once it gets a lil older.. a lot of plants start out with super fat leaves early in veg only to have them thin out once the plants gets a lil older..
i'd say that maybe after three or so weeks of growth, you'll have a good idea of the structure of your plant..

Durban Poison Marijuana is White widow crossed with Northern lights.

Both with really strong indica tendencies that could easily even the best sativa, which NL is not a strong sativa.

Durban Poison is a landrace sativa strain I belive, not a cross of anything. There are some crosses out there, mostly Durban x Skunk from what Ive seen, but Durban Poison is a pure (almost pure?) sativa strain.

that's my understanding - an african landrace sativa - supposed to have a short finishing time, which isn't common for most sativa types

durban poison is a landrace strain so its kinda near the bottom of the family tree.. but take a pic from the side. its hard to judge any plant with just a top shot but u can tell early on if u fucking up. larger plants change colors, wrinkle, fold, etc... under stressful conditions. but smaller plants just dont grow. since cannabis grows very fast, u should be able to judge the growth from leaf set to leaf set and be able to tell if its growing too slowly or stunted

I've been wanting to grow this for a couple yrs now-I'm a big sativa fan- but was worried about it being a sativa in new england. Once I read up on the short flower period I ordered one of Dutch Passions. Just got my bean yesterday, shes soaking now, in a pot tomorrow. Last yr I had good weather untill shortly after halloween, so even if it goes long I should be good, really want the full potency, I'd hate to have to chop early due to weather-and the fact I'll hopefully have harvests in early Sept( Super Cali Haze Auto) then one mid-late Sept(Barney Farms LSD) so the extre 1-2weeks will give me a break and time to dry those and get em curing before the Durbans ready to come down.
