UK cannabis petition

See on the news yesterday that a petition was sent to the government with over 200,000 signatures on it which means that mp's will then have to have a discussion about possible legalisation of cannabis. What would this mean to the home grower. Would they make it legal to grow do you think or would the government put too much restriction, ie only aloud to smoke in designated cafes etc and then tax it so much like they go alcohol, petrol and fans?

I think we under estimate what lazy arses most people are...there'll still be a market for herb, just lower (more realistic) prices.
I can never make my mind up whether I'd like it legal; on the one hand it would open up growing opportunities because we could swap clones, pollen etc etc. But on the other hand it's easy money growing illegal...if you know what you're doing of course ;)

Very true, they're probably will be a market but if legal surely the government would want there share of the profits and tax accordingly. If it does have an effect on price then it can't be too much cheaper as the price of electricity would be no money in it
