under watered plants...will they ever fully recover?

So i guess I learned the hard way that water needs change, quickly ....

I got two female Master kush plants growing outside in 2 gal pots, FF Ocean Forest soil, FF trio nutes, 9 weeks veg...my problem is that they keep wilting due to under watering. I used to water once a week now I can't go 2 days w/o the leaves starting to droop ..

I have since decided to be alot more diligent in my waterings but they've wilted down pretty bad twice in the past two weeks and are doing way better but still have a slight droop. They used to be very very perky and I want them to get back to that.

Will they ever fully recover? Will super thrive help? Or maybe a little dish soap to act as a wetting agent in case the soil is a bit hydro phobic? I would post pics usually but I didn't take any of them wilted and I already know the problem, just need help fixing it...thanks RIU!

Hmmm...MJ is more likely to droop when it is overwatered as opposed to underwatered....also, I don't know what size pot you are using, but it might be time to go up a pot size..if the same plant keeps going dry again and again, it is usually because it is time for a transplant..

Its definitely not over-watered I can guarantee that...the leaves were lifeless and the soil bone dry, pots light.... once I watered them they popped right back up, both times...I think my pots are too small too...they're 2-gal pots...was going to transplant to 3gal Smartpots or maybe even 5gal in the beginning of July a few weeks before flower but might have to do it sooner now...i was only waiting bc im LSTing and they are tied to the pots they're in..I don't wanna untie them until right before flower (est. August )..thanks for ur reply ....

Anyone else?

yeah...switch the pots up to the next size and your issue should stop...but don't wait too long...it causes plants a good bit of issue sometimes

2 gal pots, outside, watering once a week? I don't grow outside but most recommend at least 5 gal for outside, I think 10 gal is what I see alot.

Yea i know but it'sjust not a feasible option in my case....plus they only get like 6 hours of direct sunlight so they don't grow too crazy....imma try 3 gallon Smartpots this weekend and see how they like it...I heard you can go smaller with Smartpots bc they airprune so well...hoping for the best.. .
