I've found a secluded spot next to a creek bed that should do very well for a fine marijuana crop. The soil is very light, stays relatively moist most of the time, and is also a dark color.

Any ideas on how to boost the marijuana plant growth?

I was thinking about putting down a small amount of fertilizers on the ground before i brought the plants in.
I plan to grow the plants from a female clone indoors for a few weeks before moving them outdoors to give them a nice healthy start.

Also, I've heard that fish guts help to boost marijuana growth? True/False?

Any ideas would be much appreciated. :weed::weed::weed:

im relatively new to growing but on my first outside grow i put a cut in half perch in the bottom of the hole and ended up with an 8 and a half foot monster so im pretty sure that fish are a very good fert. ( high nitrogen) i think.

I would think that putting a fish in the hole would invite the local racoon or skunk .
Just a thought

make sure there is plenty of room for roots to grow
if they only go down 2 ft and hit rocks or other roots the plant will stop growing because roots cant absorb enough water
so maybe till dirt

If ya use fish guts, than u will attract a lot of animals. I know thier are slow releasing fertilizers that will work but than you have to make sure your plants will never dry out. Also the fertilizer is pretty expensive so according to size I dont know your budget; for the product your hydroponic store must have some experiences with it, otherwise dont buy from him and order it.
If you are interested in big plants, remeber that most likly your creek will carry good micro nut's in it and all you have to do is buy some organic fer or syntheic, but I would go organic if your going near the creek and fill a couple 35gallon barrals and apply the organic feed in those 35g drums, than from their scoop feed out onto your plants with a 1gallon pitchure! Remeber you are only going to do this a few times in the season. Good luck

you can condition the soil with dolomite lime, compost, perlite, whatever you normally use...

there's a thread on it actually somewhere, actually check the growfaq, there's a good article in there about condition soil for an outdoor grow.
