UPDATE help me “something eating my leaves”

Ok so I posted about a pest eating holes in my leaves, I’ve seen nothing that does this besides caterpillars and worms. It’s an indoor garden so it’s highly unlikely that’s the case and I haven’t found a single one, I’ve looked intensely. However I just noticed these small red guys, visible with the naked eye, and I’ve posted photos below shot with a 60x microscope. I’ll post photos of damage too. I’ve sprayed with Montetey insect spray yesterday. Also I do not see any movement with these mysterious red things... they just sit on the stem of the leaves. One problem lead I pulled had 5 of them on the stem of the leaf. What the hell are these???

I had them before and i don't think they have damaged the leaf.

I never really found out what they were
They looked very uniform like little shelled insects, or maybe honey dew.

I assumed they were possibly a form of scale but?

I just wiped them off and no harm was noted and I haven't seen them in years.

Hopefully someone will tell us.
 
its a red spider mite id guess i have seen that in my outdoors years ago but if there is no webbing might be something else

Do red spider mites eat holes in leaves? This is very strange to me.... I’ve also wondered if this could be the droppings of a bigger insect, but like I said, I’ve yet to see anything as far as a larger insect.
 
according to google they do. i haven't delt with mite in 20 yrs i hope someone with better experience can give better information. if your plats over run by them in a week and you start getting webbing on your leaves then youll know what they are
 
I’m thinking these things are eggs or larvae of whatever’s eating my shit. Doing another spray tomorrow. Any info is appreciated from all y’all! Thanks!

Maybe you should reconsider? Pretty sure that's what you got going and the red stuff that you're seeing on the stems and leaf are the larvae .. btw, leaf miners leave trails, not borers

Ok I will look further into it and yes, I think I am like 90 percent certain that what I am seeing is eggs/larvae. Thanks man

Looks like scale insect to me. Adults don’t move around much either, if at all. Have u tried to wipe them, do they come off easy? If it comes straight off most likely not scale but if they’re kinda stuck then it’s them for sure. They’re sap suckers tho not leaf eaters.
 
Also check this out. Its from an earwig.

They can hide under pots or almost anywhere
I promise the scale type thing is not eating the leaf

The only thing that eats and holes my leaves are moth larvae and due to their life cycle they probably hide during the night and have your schedule dialled in leaving you thinking wtf is making these holes. Eventually i'll catch the fucker or fuckers but only thing i know that does this hole shit.

A serious consideration and they can be small like so they are hard to see, my 2 cents :-)

Word, I’m hoping my last spray killed whatever it was off. Hasn’t seemed to have gotten any worse.
