Upgrade Ballasts?

Is it true that you'll get 30% more light from a good electronic ballast vs a magnetic?

I have a magnetic ballast and the best I've gotten with it is .91gpw. I probably could break 1gpw but the plant needed some more support. If I upgrade, what kind of performance increase could I see?

I think the only diff is the power boost function in the elec ballast but then you aint gonna use it this much..
(I never did in one year time)

If the sound and heat of magnatic is not a probleem for you, then I wouldnt even bother..

Or you would be wasting your money that could be invented in better ways..

I never know that there is such difference between different brands..

It really depends also on how many ballasts you need to change..

Its all about money bro!!

I run sunmaster hobby it was the cheapest I could found with no fan and a knowen manfacture no China stuff so thats why I went with that one..
