So I just chopped this small auto after 36 hours of darkness…..I’m not a total believer in the dark period practice but the plant was ready and I didn’t have time to chop and deal w/ it.
Anyway, I chop the plant at the base and spotted what looked like white cotton fibers on the backside of one leaf. I clipped and honestly thought it was mold.
Then I spotted an actual mealy bug. I couldn’t even tell it was a bug until the sucker jumped off my hand.
Anyway, I’ve inspected the rest of the plant and cannot find any other evidence.
I’ll be drying in a different location than where the mealy bug appeared.
Should I wash these buds???
This is a small auto that stunted but the quality is A+, so even though it may only be an oz or so of dried bud, I don’t wanna lose it.
Thanks to all…
