help, urgent help required please. i was a complete idiot and forgot to turn my timer on last night. therefore when i woke up (just as the timer should have been going off) i saw the light wasn't on. i turned the light on but the plant has recevied 18hours darkness instead of its usual 12. now seeing as mine is sativa dominant, almost all sativa, i also heard that sativas are more prone to hermies. what can i do to avoid this problem? should i gradually move it back to 6/12 or just put it straight on 6/12? any help much appreciated
Note: i am using a 6/12 experimental lighting schedule as being researched in the indoor growing section, proven to decrease flowering time.
so basically if you have yours on 12/12, what would you do if you had a 24hr period of darkness cos plants tell the time of season by length of darkness and not time exposed to light. (from what i've read)
