Urine and Wood Ash?

Sure, lots of people have! Pee is a great source for "free N" (Nitrogen) and wood ash is a great source for "free K" (Potasium). That's 2/3 of your N-P-K requirement for nutrients. I can't think of any good, free, sources for "K" (Phosphorous), right off hand - but there should be plenty of "cheap" ones.

But don't forget about your "secondary nutrients" (Calcium, Magnesium and Sulphur) and your 10, or so, "trace elements".

Pissing on my plant? I dont know about that. The article says it helps with tomato plants so I'm not going to say it cant work but I'm not gonna say it might either. Anyone have any other info on this?
